EDGAR PLANS COMMITTED TO CHILDREN'S RIGHTS BEYOND HIS DRAWINGS
Paula Latiegui

The artist Edgar Plans donates more than 33,000 euros to the NGO Save The Children in order to provide food for the more than 10 million children living in extreme poverty and hunger.

One million children lose their lives every year because of hunger. And hunger is the direct consequence of conflict, economic crises and climate change. It is the catastrophic effect of actions in which children have no part, yet they are its biggest victim.

The artist Edgar Plans, committed to social causes as reflected in his works featuring little street heroes fighting for a better world, has donated more than €33,000 to the NGO Save The Children for its project to support the global fund against hunger.

The purpose of the project is to provide food for the more than 10 million children in extreme hunger and poverty, particularly in Africa. The consequences of the war in Ukraine have had a global impact, causing the poorest countries to suffer from food shortages, especially women and girls who are disproportionately affected by this crisis, as they are often the last to eat and receive the least amount of food.

That is why Edgar Plans, faithful representative of the smallest and most remote, joins this fight, trusting in a better tomorrow and betting on arriving on time.
