Juan Díaz-Faes was born in Oviedo and shortly afterwards he was already praising horror vacui, as could be seen in his drawings where hundreds of red and black ants fought against each other. Then he decided to formalize it by studying fine arts at the University of Salamanca, and although he thought he would not be able to dedicate himself exclusively to drawing, he has succeeded.

Only one month ago he dazzled us with Legaho, the work with which he debuted as a muralist in Madrid. Six floors high, 250 liters of paint, 400m2 of wall and the help of six students, have formed the artist's largest work from now on, converting the courtyard of the TAI art school into a fun yellow universe. The mural is still a game, even its title refers to "Lego" because of the construction of the characters one on top of the other and because it is a shared work, combining it with "ho", a typical Asturian expression meaning "man".

Since 2017, cities such as Miami, Austin, Guangzhou, Uruguay, Santander, and now Madrid, have featured large-scale murals with the artist's signature. Díaz-Faes has had solo exhibitions at the Point Éphémére centre in Paris and Conde Duque in Madrid. He has also participated in group exhibitions in Barcelona, Taipei, Hamburg, among others. His work is part of the exhibition Still Human, which was shown at the Espacio SOLO museum in Madrid in 2021.
